Short Wave Infrared Lamps
Infrared (IR) is the electromagnetic radiation that has a wave length longer than visible light but shorter than visible light but shorter than microwave radiation. IR wavelengths are between 760nm (0.76µ) and 1m and can be further divided into short wave infrared, medium wave infrared and long wave infrared.
Shortwave radiation penetrates more and ensures uniform heating. To achieve efficiency in heating it is recommended that the lamp should correspond to the absorption characteristic of the product being heated. A part of the infrared radiation spectrum is reflected from the surface of the object being heated. And the rest is either absorbed by the object or passes through the object.
We manufacture and design a large number of short wave infrared lamps.
CLEAR: - It is a lamp in clear tube optimizing infrared output.
REFLECTOR COATED:These lamps have a white ceramic coating allowing the majority of the heat to be projected forward.
GOLD:The lamp is covered with dichroic coating. It reduces glare and has a gold appearance when switched off.
JACKETED:A quartz Sleeve is applied to the lamp for additional safety.
NEUTRAL DENSITY: A Neutral density sleeve is applied to the lamps to reduce glare. These lamps look orange when lit.
TWIN TUBE:These lamps are made of high quality quartz glass. This unique design enables high radiation power as well as excellent mechanical stability. It is available with Gold reflector coating.
APPLICTIONS: PET preform heating, drying water based inks on printing presses, paint baking, powder coating curing, curing inks-screen printing on textiles, drying glue on paper, drying moisture in paper mills, paper coating drying, shrink wrapping, food warming, evaporation of water in humidifiers, for soldering and in the semiconductor industry.
